Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum comprises of five galleries, namely Popular Science Gallery, Kimbe Paper Metals Gallery, Children's Science Gallery, Electronic Technology Gallery and Engine Hall Gallery. It has wide collections of machines.

The main displayed items of the museums are airplane and steam engine, electronics, motor power, uses and properties of wood and metal, etc. The mobile science exhibition of the museum is an important part of the Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum.
This museum is a venue for regular science and technology exhibitions along with film shows, demonstrations and seminars on science subjects.
